In 2023, I created a digital billboard tribute to Tina Turner that captured the spirit and soul of a true icon—right here in her hometown of St. Louis, and all major US cities. The design was a bold, heartfelt homage that resonated deeply with the city, sparking an outpouring of love from fans and passersby alike. The tribute went on to win Best Tribute in the Riverfront Times’ Best of St. Louis awards, a reflection of how powerfully it connected with the community. The city’s reaction was emotional and overwhelming—people shared stories, snapped photos, and celebrated Tina’s legacy right from the streets she once called home. It was one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever had the honor to design.
