CONCEPT & DESIGN APPROACH
Cantor Injury Law had been running the same generic injury lawyer billboards seen everywhere—until this campaign changed everything. Initially, their account rep warned that Cantor was stuck in his ways and unlikely to go for anything bold. But after meeting with him and discussing his goals, I asked:
"Why not have an actual car smashed into a billboard?"
That question completely changed the campaign’s direction. Cantor wanted to be the #1 lawyer people thought of when they had a car accident, but his previous billboards blended in with the competition. This unexpected, high-impact execution made him impossible to forget.
This billboard didn’t just grab attention—it transformed Cantor’s brand awareness. The response was so strong that:
• Cantor had to hire more staff to handle the increase in business.
• The board has been moved to multiple locations over the years.
• People now associate him with this iconic ad.
This project proved that even stubborn clients with “safe” billboards can be convinced to take creative risks—especially when the idea is too good to pass up.

BRINGING THE IDEA TO LIFE
✔ Sourcing & Prepping the Car – Found a junkyard car, cut it in half, reinforced it, and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
✔ Adding Realism & Visibility – The tail lights were wired to glow at night, adding an extra touch of authenticity.
✔ Installation with a Crane – The car was hoisted up and securely mounted to create the illusion of a crash breaking through the board.
